[Conference] NoCode Is Code and It Can Scale!
𧨠NoCode is definitively about code!
Or should I say βVisual Developmentβ? π
Last week, the third edition of the NoCode Summit took place at STATION F, it was great to see the tech industry maturity on this topic!
π£ One can build βrealβ product with NoCode/LowCode tools, provided that best practices are followed!
π This edition featured talks and panels with large corporation representatives who now include NoCode stacks into their strategies, while making sure best practices are enforced.
π Tech companies also use those tools to build part of their product. I had the chance to coordinate two talks on the topic:
- Jeremie Lebrun (BlaBlaCar), MaΓ―nou Laouchez (Qonto) & Matthieu Brau (Prello) shared their practices to address-customer-facing use cases at a large scale (π¬ replay).
- Thibaut Watrigant (GoJob), Vincent Viers (DINUM) & Nils Fedrigo (Greenly) showed us that NoCode done right and combined with AI can boost collaborators rather than replace them (thanks Richard Samier for hosting the panel!) (π¬ replay)
π And of course, the push from some editors, led by Xano for a new rise of the term “Visual Development”, embracing the Software Engineering aspect of NoCode approaches!
If I’m not mistaken, this edition was also the first to welcome a NoCode testing tool - Mr Suricate - as sponsor (I didn’t get a pair of socks for this mention π), along with companies like ncScale, we really see the need for Software Engineering best practices being including in the Visual Development Lifecycle!
π€© Iβve been building low-code platforms for more than 10 years now, and Iβm glad to finally see all sizes of companies understand the value and ROI of this innovative approach, when done right!
